Today, more than 84 million Americans and countless others around the world invest in the U.S. equities markets, some directly, others through pension plans, mutual funds, and other vehicles. While some investors rely on investment professionals for advice, others choose to chart their own investment course. But regardless of exactly where they invest and whose advice they seek, FINRA believes all investor should have access to basic educational information about investing.
We recently surveyed investors to get an idea of what people know -- and what people may not know -- about investing.
